Morro Bay Beach Inn

Dip and Yogi were kind and helpful hosts, and I even got to meet the owner, Jack. This little motel is a gem. It’s a moderate walk to the small shops downtown and to the Embarcadero shops and restaurants. The rooms were exceptionally clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable, beds included. I loved the window coverings and the look of the room. We stayed three days, and it was all just excellent.

Dip gave us amazing service, and I’ll stay here again on my next drive up the coast. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, and the shower stayed hot, which was reassuring. There were plenty of towels, plus complimentary toothbrushes and shower caps. No complaints.

Deep called at 12pm while I was driving late to check that I was okay and making it there, and reminded me to drive safely. He helped me park too, then was on duty in the morning. You can tell he really loves his job. I was making an eight-hour drive to a funeral, and this was my last stop. I’m so glad we stayed. My kids loved the hotel with a view.

DIP was patient and really helpful when I needed a last-minute reservation and a late check-in. The staff were friendly, kind, and ready to help. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and I liked the ocean and water-themed curtains. They added a cool touch when closed, and the place felt safe. It’s an easy walk to downtown and Morro Rock, which we could see from the hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again.
