The staff at the office were professional and friendly, with complimentary granola bars, Kind bars, fruit, tea, and coffee. Our room also had a fridge, microwave, and a nice little pour-over coffee setup. The parking lot had enough room for our truck, with no tight turns or spaces. Great location, and it's a nice place overall. Our room was clean and newly remodeled, with an okay bed and nice pillows. The floor and walkway noise from above was the worst I've ever heard in a hotel. If you're not traveling with a pet, I'd suggest booking upstairs, preferably on the third floor, for less noise and a spectacular view. Many rooms have a good view of the bay and the rock, but room 107 sits right behind the office building, so it had no view at all. Pet-friendly rooms are on the ground floor. There's no designated pet relief area, and they ask you to take pets off the property. The neighborhood felt safe, but there was no grass or park nearby, so be ready to clean up after sidewalk potty breaks.

The location is amazing, and I'd absolutely stay again. It would be even better with private balconies instead of one shared by everyone, or some furniture set up to make the most of the view.

Our room was updated and roomy, with a big shower, a great bed, and perfect pillows. It was also the cleanest room of our road trip, and all in all a great boutique hotel. We were moved a few days before arrival because we'd brought our dog but booked the wrong room. We lost the view, but weren't charged for the change. The room was the handicap room, which explains the extra space. The layout felt strange to us, though it probably works well for someone using a wheelchair. The name says it all, you're at the Landing of Morro Bay.

The room was lovely, with a great view of Morro Rock. After I got home, I learned I'd been wrongly charged $200 for a smoking violation, but the issue has been resolved. Check the drawers for supplies you didn't bring. I plan to come back sometime.

Everything's close by, with restaurants just a one- or two-minute walk away. The rooms are very clean and quiet, and the beds are super comfortable. Each room has a cute little fireplace, either just for the lighting or with the heater on, a nice touch that can make even a simple room feel romantic. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
