I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s the place I plan to use whenever I’m in Moscow. It felt more like home than a generic hotel, and seemed cleaner and better maintained too. The downtown location makes it easy to explore shops and restaurants, and the University of Idaho is about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are impeccably clean and well equipped, which makes this a good affordable choice for stays lasting several days or even weeks, though it isn’t a full-service hotel. There’s a kitchen in the unit, with herbs and spices provided, plus whole bean coffee and a grinder, and tea. The shared area offers more cooking space, free snacks like popcorn, chips, and granola bars, and free laundry with detergent and dryer sheets.

The neighborhood and alley entrance didn’t feel welcoming, and I wouldn’t want my daughter arriving here alone. Google calls this a hotel, but it’s really a very small rental unit. The shared area and roof access are a cool idea. The shower looked nice and spacious, but the little toilet and handwashing station built into it, which turns on when you flush, put me off. I expected a bigger bed. I’m large, and so is my son, and there’s no way one bed would work for someone 5'10" and someone 6'2". I hate being the first to review, since this place might suit somebody.

The bathroom smelled horribly of cat pee, like it had been sitting there for months. I held my breath every time and didn’t even try to shower. The blinds were dirty and the toilet sink was strange. The room itself wasn’t bad, but the alley entrance had empty alcohol bottles and party buckets. ETA, it was the green room.
