Harbourside Inn

Northeast Harbor town is only a five minute walk away, and the setting is peaceful while still making it easy to hike Acadia and visit Bar Harbor. This is a lovely, family run inn, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room was spotless, with a wood fireplace and a very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was just right, including homemade apple spice cake. If you want a quiet place to stay while exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor, I highly recommend it.

My friend and I had a great stay in the room with two twin beds. There was plenty of space, and it felt comfortable and charming. The innkeepers were friendly, kind, and helpful, and we enjoyed the fresh, tasty light breakfast each morning. Bar Harbor is close enough for a short drive, but the inn still felt like a peaceful retreat. I can't wait to come back. ❤️

We really enjoyed our time at this charming inn. The rooms have plenty of character, and we made good use of the fireplace. Breakfast had good options, especially for a place that isn't a bed and breakfast. Food and shops are just a quick walk away, and it made for a relaxing stay.

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and the inn's New England character comes through in the gardens, common areas, and peaceful porch where you can have morning coffee. Our room had rustic touches and looked out toward the woods, a lovely place to unwind after exploring. Breakfast was continental, with fresh fruit and blueberry muffins, and they also had towels and sunscreen available, a thoughtful touch. The location makes it easy to enjoy the area. Acadia National Park's entrance is a short drive or bike ride away, and hiking trails, Jordan Pond, and the Park Loop Road are nearby. Cafes, restaurants, and shops are close too, so you can enjoy Bar Harbor without going far. Just a few minutes from downtown, this was a comfortable and charming home base for adventure or relaxing. We'll be back.
