Mt Laurel Motel Hazleton

We needed somewhere easy to reach for the night on a road trip home with family, and the rooms were clean. There was no coffee or continental breakfast, but McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts were a couple of exits up and easy to get to. A neighbor had a loud fiesta outside, though we couldn't hear it from the room. Hot water was good. We could have used more towels, but it worked well for a quick overnight stop.

We've been here for several weeks and are quite happy with the stay. The husband and wife who run this family business are very sweet and professional. We tried two rooms, one with a queen bed and kitchenette, the other with two double beds. Both were clean, and the whole property is kept up well. The shower handle in the second room needs a minor repair, but that was the only issue. Other guests have been quiet. We definitely recommend it.

The room wasn't picture perfect, but I slept great. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the parking area was well lit. The TV and heater both worked well. They let me smoke, and there are lots of restaurants and state parks nearby. I'd stay here again when I'm in the area.

This is a good choice in Hazleton. Plenty of budget motels around here have terrible reviews, but this one earns its good ones. The property has been newly remodeled, the rooms were very clean, and the beds comfortable. Staff were accommodating and helped me fix a mistake I'd made on the reservation. I'll come back next time I'm in the area.
