Red Roof Inn Mt Laurel

The room was in awful shape: ants crawling around, dirty and damaged furniture, spots of damage on the TV, holes and stains on the walls and ceiling, a broken door lock, and a cigarette-burned, stained bed. I don't even want to think about how clean the sheets were. The AC was dusty and moldy, the floor was dirty, towels were stained and probably poorly cleaned, and the curtain had holes and dirt. The window and sill looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. I was mortified that I'd chosen this place for a summer stay with my girlfriend. For just a little more, we could have stayed across the street at the Courtyard Marriott. It's dirty and disrespectful to paying guests to put them in these conditions, no matter how cheap it is. People deserve dignity. The place looks like it's run by a slumlord. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

The desk lady was awesome, and the beds were comfy. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and no toilet paper in the bathroom, but neither bothered me or my fiance. A decent stay for the price 🙂 I'd stay again for sure.

There wasn't even a blanket, and the front desk said we'd have to wait until after midnight to get one. We weren't going to spend a winter night without a blanket, so we left. Red roof inn vlaims they'll refund us, but nothing has come through yet. The room also had no trash can, a huge hole through the bathroom door, and a room door that looked as if it had been battered in. We had no toilet paper at first. The desk person said she'd bring some but never did. When my husband asked again, she took a half-used roll from another room and gave it to him. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. People should know about these awful conditions before paying to stay there.

The room had loads of flies that we couldn't kill, and the floors hadn't been vacuumed or kept up. The sheets were full of cigarette-burn holes. There was no shampoo, towels, or garbage can either. I don't usually complain, but this was unacceptable. Absolutely unbelievable. The outside-access rooms had lots of people smoking, and I'm sure other unsavory things were going on too. It felt very scary for two young women. Hands down the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Don't stay here.
