Comfort Inn & Suites and Conference Center

Breakfast was easily the best part, it was top notch. I had a very good quick weekend stay about a month ago. The room was clean, the staff were kind, and it was quiet with few people around. We used the pool, which looked well maintained, and had it to ourselves. I'd recommend it.

The trails behind the hotel were lovely. My dog was delighted by all the smells, and I liked getting a bit of nature on the paved path. She also loved having her own bed at the hotel. I booked because dogs are accepted, and check-in with her was effortless. They checked my ID and took a deposit for possible damage, nothing complicated. The hotel was very clean, the staff seemed great, and the layout was a little confusing but workable. Our ground-floor room may have been because of the dog. It had two queen beds, a desk and chair, microwave, mini fridge, a small clothes closet, and a decent-sized TV. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a high showerhead, which worked for tall people. The room was spotless. The bed leaned firm, but wasn't too hard, and I slept as well as I can away from home. For a three-star hotel, this earns five stars from me. It was one of the nicest places I've stayed for a very decent price, and I'd absolutely come back.

The room itself was nice, but the toilet handle was broken and only flushed now and then. I wasn't impressed with the stay. The pool is advertised as heated, but only the pool area was warm, the water was very cold. The so-called convenience store the manager mentioned was just a cooler of Coke and a chip rack. At 10:30 breakfast was down to a cooler of yogurt; the coffee was terrible and the juice machine was empty.

I came for a conference in September '25. The room was clean and had what I needed, and the staff were very helpful. They were also freshening up the corridors with new paint. I'd gladly return for another event nearby.
