Andrew and Teja at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient, with Walmart and lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious, though mine looked older than expected. It had a stovetop, fridge/freezer, plates, cups, and bowls. Dishwasher detergent and paper towels were provided. Breakfast is offered each morning, there’s a small convenience store, and laundry is available. The machines weren’t used often, so it was easy to get one, but they take quarters: $3 to wash and $2.50 to dry per load. Housekeeping came only every other day and apparently just emptied trash and replaced towels. Sheets were changed once a week. Service was inconsistent, and the room wasn’t well maintained. More thorough cleaning would help keep the rooms in better shape. Getting basic supplies that should have been stocked, like toiletries, towels, or coffee, was difficult because of a language barrier. The front desk service was mostly great, but one interaction was bad. I asked for a replacement hair dryer because housekeeping had left a broken one in my room, and the overall housekeeping service was poor.

The breakfast was excellent, with a woman making waffles ahead and offering them as customers walked in. The blueberry muffins were delicious both days. This fairly new Marriott budget hotel was well managed, with a big fridge and freezer in the room and a roomy oversized shower. The bathroom was good, too. The mattress was softer than we’re used to, and after two nights our backs stiffened up. If you like a soft mattress, this may suit you, but it could be a problem if you prefer a firmer one.

We had a confirmed reservation and arrived at the right check-in time, but my wife and I were sent to another hotel 15 miles in the wrong direction because this one had overbooked by quite a few rooms. I can’t understand how their system let us book two days before arrival when they were already overbooked. The other Marriott charged us for parking and breakfast, both of which would have been included here. The front desk person said I’d get Marriott points to make up for being bumped, but none ever came. I called Marriott and was pleasant with the person I spoke to. She put me on hold to look into it, then we got disconnected. I’m very disappointed with Marriott over this.

The location was good, and the front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating. As Marriott members who travel often, we found the breakfast average at best and housekeeping in need of improvement. It was very difficult to get supplies that should already have been stocked in the room, like toiletries, towels, and coffee, because of a language barrier.
