The proprietor is super friendly and knows a lot about the house and area. The place has a warm, Victorian feel, with bathrooms off each room, and the details of the decor are lovely, or as close to perfect as antiques get. Breakfast is homemade and fun too, as the photo shows. What a fun stay!

We were greeted at midnight by the friendly innkeeper, who is a Kenyon alum, and the house was nice and warm. My daughter and I were visiting Kenyon College, just a few minutes away by a straight drive from this lovely home. Our room was very large, with a full or queen bed and a generous twin, plus our own bathroom. The shower was on the small side, but that's understandable in an old converted house. Breakfast was delicious. We'd come back if my daughter decides on Kenyon.

We had a delicious lunch in the dining room, and I'd come back anytime. The historic setting is elegant, with furnishings and knick-knacks, and the rooms are restored to their original luster.
