Best Western Crestview Hotel & Suites

The breakfast was much better than the cereal and muffins some hotels offer. Here there were eggs, waffles, pancakes, sausages, and more. We stayed two nights without any problems. The rooms were kept clean and tidy, and they provided two bottles of water and coffee at no extra charge. The view from our window wasn’t great, just a tall building next door.

The gym was closed on the third day, too. My first night was fine, but at 6 am the next morning, a major delivery filled the hallways with boxes and made a terrible racket. The last night was even worse. At 5:30am (!) someone started moving furniture in the room above mine, and it was incredibly loud. I went to reception, but the man didn’t seem keen to deal with it. I felt I had to push him to stop the noise. It stopped for only 25 minutes, then they started redoing the carpet upstairs. I packed my bags and left. I stayed three nights. If you need a good night’s sleep, don’t come here. They won’t see me again, and I’ll do my best to keep others from staying.

We only needed a place because work was being done at our home, and I won’t be back. The hotel seems older with a recent facelift. The rooms didn’t feel cozy, and the lamps looked decorative since there wasn’t a nearby outlet to plug them in. The bed was okay, if a little hard, and the shower had good pressure. The continental breakfast wasn’t tasty, so I’d get breakfast somewhere else.

The room was roomy, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. But the bathroom cleaner smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I considered asking to change rooms, then noticed the same smell in the hallway and lobby, so it seemed to be from the cleaning products. The bedroom air conditioning was really loud. Parking was limited, though I had no trouble finding a spot.
