Comfort Inn & Suites Munising-Lakefront

We enjoyed the tasty, convenient breakfast, and the location made it easy to get into Munising or visit the nearby waterfalls. What stood out first was the young man at the front desk, working the afternoon of September 8, 2025. I wish I'd gotten his name so I could praise him specifically. He was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful. It was a great stay.

I've been here about four times and generally like the hotel. The front desk staff are great, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, there's a bar inside, and everything was very clean. The location is good too. The problem this time was how damp the room felt. It was 75-80 degrees outside without much humidity, but inside, even clean, dry clothes felt damp when I put them on. The AC cooled the room but didn't take away that feeling. I thought about opening the window, but there were no screens. I've seen other reviews mention this, and I hope management addresses it.

Nothing fancy, just a clean room and comfortable beds at a good price. We were happy with our choice and would stay again. It's close to downtown Munising and the National Lakeshore.

The hot tub was amazing, and the pool was fun too. The Dollar General across the road was handy for anything we'd forgotten. We also liked the breakfast options, which were better than at other places we've stayed. The hotel was neat and very clean, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming when answering questions and explaining the policies at check-in. It was mostly quiet, in a good spot for local activities, and we'd be happy to come back.
