I picked this motel because it was only two blocks from my truck tractor delivery, and there was a good spot to park overnight. The bed was fine and the TV, including HBO, worked great. Service was minimal and the price felt a little high without coffee or breakfast, but it was okay for a quick night's sleep.

They showed us a second room, then said it would cost more because they only rent that one by the day, not by the week. The first room they wanted to rent us had black mold. The place also smelled very strongly of air freshener, like they might be trying to cover something up.

The staff were really kind and made sure I was comfortable. My stay at Jakson Motel was quiet, clean, and cozy, and it felt like a little home away from home. I'd happily come back.

The room itself was fine, and we were feeling like it was a five-star stay until a call and a knock came just after 10 AM asking whether we'd pay for another night or check out. In hindsight, I can understand asking, but checkout is at 11. I've never had that happen before, and I think guests should get their allotted time unless they're actually late.

For a motel at $75 a night, it had everything you could reasonably ask for. The location worked well, the rooms were clean, and the staff were courteous and efficient. I'd strongly recommend the Jackson Mofel if you need somewhere to stop for the night.
