Fred and Barb are terrific hosts. They’ve been doing this for a long time and know what they’re doing. The breakfasts were delicious, and the conversation was delightful. They provided every amenity we needed during a truly memorable weekend. We stayed in their beautiful Victorian Bed & Breakfast and had a large, wonderfully decorated room with an outdoor patio overlooking Muskegon Lake. The home’s decor and ambience made for a perfectly restful weekend, and the room was beyond comfortable. We were delighted with our stay.

Barbara and Fred were wonderful hosts and caretakers of this beautiful bed and breakfast. They fit in our last-minute request, and everything was very clean, with lots of little extras that made us comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We only wish we’d had more time to stay longer and enjoy the views.

We celebrated our 42nd anniversary in Muskegon at this bed and breakfast and enjoyed relaxing in the many places to sit, lounge, talk, and take in the view. The home was very clean, and Barbara and Fred were readily available whenever we needed something. They’ve maintained the home’s history and decorated it immaculately. We felt welcome and valued, and enjoyed spending time with them. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.

The breakfasts were tasty, and we enjoyed chatting with Fred & Barb over them each morning. The house has beautiful period furnishings, while the rooms are comfortable, well furnished, and exceptionally clean. They’re also equipped with TVs, blu-ray players, and individual A/C units, and some have jetted tubs. Fred & Barb were wonderful hosts. We had a great stay and would happily come back.

The old world feel here really makes you feel at home. They’ve kept the history and character of the house so beautifully, with gorgeous antique furniture and architecture, plus lovely views of Muskegon Lake. We’ve stayed every summer for five years, and Barb & Fred are a big part of why. They’re so kind, welcoming, friendly, and gracious. We’ve tried lots of B&Bs over the years, but this one is far ahead of the rest. Wish we could give it 10 stars! Dr. Kirk & Barbara Smith Highland Beach, FL
