The motel's atmosphere made me uneasy. Graffiti, people wandering through the parking lot, and broken liquor bottles right outside our room all contributed to feeling unsafe. Inside, it was a nightmare. The shower was dirty and moldy, with a washcloth full of black hairs. Sheets and towels had what looked like bloodstains, and there wasn't even a fitted sheet on the bed. The bed had sharp screw points sticking out of the headboard, the sink moved when touched because it wasn't secured to the floor, and most of the lights didn't work. The door didn't close tightly, and the furniture was broken. I wouldn't feel good about a felon staying in the room we were given, and I agree with whoever said it should be condemned. The staff were unhelpful and apathetic, but thank God Priceline gave us a refund. It was $70 a night.

After driving all day, we had to stop here because it was the only place with a room. The atmosphere felt very sketchy, and once inside, the problems kept adding up. The fridge was filthy and unplugged, the air conditioner was filled with bath salt, and there was writing on the mirror and fridge. A purple substance covered the light switch by the bathroom. The lampshades were broken and falling off, and the bed had no fitted sheet and blood on the comforter. This is the worst hotel I've ever experienced. I would never recommend it to anyone.

I was waiting for my rental to become available after moving here, and picked this place because it was cheap and close to work. It's filthy, with cockroaches everywhere and stains on the sheets, towels, and carpet. I was so afraid something would crawl on me that I slept in my clothes. If you have to stay, scrub yourself, keep your luggage in your car, and don't bring food or leave trash, or you'll have bugs in your room. Good luck.

Our room ended up clean, quiet, and cheap, and the employees were friendly to us. I tipped the maids $5 when I asked them to clean while we were in the room. I felt bad that they seemed short on help or couldn't afford to hire more. We liked having a microwave and fridge for our food, the outlets all worked, the AC filter was okay, and there were no bedbugs or stained walls. The first room smelled like cigarettes, but the man at the desk moved us to one that smelled clean. I was lucky: the family ahead of us had to change rooms several times because one had blood on the walls and another hadn't been cleaned. The guy said something like you get what you pay for, and this wasn't a hundred-something-dollar-a-night room. The pool needs repairs, though it was chlorinated. The floor was warping, both filter bay flaps were gone, and there were leaves and bird feathers in the water. I took out the filter baskets and used them to clean it, which worked. There were a lot of sketchy-looking customers or people hanging around. They didn't bother us, and I told my teenage daughter, “THAT is what happens to you when you try drugs, so let that be a lesson.” ;) The night we arrived, I had barely slept while searching for a cheap room nearby after my friend's place turned out to have sticky carpet, dog hair, and a smell everywhere. We'd planned to stay there a few days to save money. I feel bad for the owners because people who probably use crack and frequent the place seem to mess up rooms by picking scabs and rubbing blood on the walls. They smoke so much even though the rooms are non-smoking. If they pay, they can stay, but the motel should only accept cards, charge people for the messes, and have guests who bring in bed bugs pay a cleaning fee. Gross, but I never saw any. Maybe we got a room they give to people who don't look like crack users.
