Caroline House Nashville Historic Inn

The house has been beautifully restored, and our room was cozy, spotless, and comfortable. Ashley and Michael have made the place feel luxurious while still being relaxed and welcoming. It was a peaceful way to enjoy Nashville and get a break from the busy Broadway scene. Thanks to you both for making everything so easy. We can’t wait to return!

We spent Thanksgiving week at Caroline House and had a great experience. The owners thought of every detail to help guests enjoy their time in Nashville. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a five-star stay.

We’ve rented whole houses in lots of places, and The Caroline House was our favorite stay ever. The location was ideal: we could walk to groceries, 12 South shopping, and restaurants. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and seamless. The home is a stunning, clean, charming historic place, beautifully renovated and warmly decorated. It was exceptionally well equipped, especially the kitchen. I had everything to cook all our meals for eight, including spices and small odds and ends that you don’t want to buy in large quantities. When I needed an emulsifier, the host had one in a drawer. Every dish and serving item I needed was there, including what I needed to bake a birthday cake and a lovely raised glass cake stand with a cover. There were plenty of supplies, from toilet paper and paper towels to trash bags. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, with Frette sheets, Cuddledown duvets, and supportive mattresses. They provided plenty of towels, including makeup washcloths, and the interior lights were labeled so it was easy to tell what was what. The photos accurately show the furniture. The house was clean and ready when we arrived, with clear written instructions for everything. Most of the lights were on timers or labeled. We spent a lot of time on the back porch, where we easily got a roaring fire going. It was our favorite spot in a house full of them. The lower level was a great recreation space and also gave my husband a quiet place to work while the rest of the house was full and lively. This is such a thoughtfully put together vacation home. We’ll try to book it first next time we’re in Nashville. It’s wonderful to be away and still feel at home.

I loved meeting Desti, the perfect golden hostess. The house was beautiful, in a great neighborhood within walking distance of shops, coffee, and restaurants. It was perfectly clean and decorated so prettily for Christmas. Our cozy room had a comfy mattress, and we slept really well. I’d definitely stay again!
