Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville near Vanderbilt

Candace and her team made us feel at home when the catastrophic ice storm displaced so many people. Around 250,000 people had no power, and hotels were suddenly hit by a barrage of guests. The Fairfield staff rose to the situation with patience, courtesy, and accommodation. The rooms were very clean, and anything we needed was only a quick call away. Breakfast was wonderful, with different choices each day, from waffles to omelets and frittatas with fresh avocado, plus excellent coffee. We highly recommend this gem.

The location made it easy to get to food, shopping, or a meeting, and the staff were great and friendly. Breakfast was good. There's a small gym if you want to keep up your workout, and a laundry room downstairs by the gym if you need to do laundry.

Selena, the front desk manager, was especially kind and thoughtful from the minute we arrived. She went out of her way to provide some handy disposable items and even a few little gifts, which made our group feel welcome. The Fairfield was a wonderful base for our Nashville visit: very clean, safe, and well maintained, with a location that made everything we wanted to see easy to reach. Nashville is a beautiful city with plenty of energy and charm, and this stay made the trip even more enjoyable. We appreciated the hospitality and would gladly return.

So many restaurants were within walking distance, and we played pool in the lobby. We stayed after the ice storm knocked out our power, surrounded by locals and their dogs, and it felt warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and new, and the breakfast may have been the best we've had at a hotel. There were two kinds of eggs, avocado, and other things you appreciate when you travel a lot. Possibly the best Fairfield I've stayed at.
