I first sent this feedback directly to Noelle, but after 10 days with no reply, I’m posting it here. The comfortable bed and pillows and excellent security were positives, but several service problems made this frustrating, especially for the price. On our first morning the shower couldn’t be used because of a plumbing issue. One staff member was kind and helpful, but a later conversation at the front desk felt dismissive and was handled poorly given how serious the problem was. Housekeeping also took more than 6 hours to service our room, even though we’d seen the cleaner on our floor when we left that morning. They only came after we told the front desk we were frustrated. Our breakfast order card wasn’t collected either, so we had to call in the order. That wasn’t a major issue by itself, but it rather defeats the point of the service. Noelle has some strong points, but follow-through and consistency fell short. Better attention to detail and communication would make for a much stronger stay.

The staff here take such good care of guests, and the hotel has a classy, swanky feel. At the Coffee shop, Caedon and Ethan are the nicest guys. They make delicious cappuccinos and are warm, friendly, and attentive. We also ate really well at Luna, with its fabulous Mexican vibe, and had great drinks there. Michael, our bartender, has a great personality and looked after us so well. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Nashville.

The Noelle has a thoughtful European-style design and a great downtown location near most attractions, especially the Ryman. Getting around on foot does mean tackling quite steep hills both ways, so comfortable shoes and a willingness to walk are needed. The rooms are small but well appointed, with firm beds and good sheets. The front desk employees came across as smug, though they were informative. I liked the bedside controls for the sheer curtains, blackout curtains, and lights, but the labels have worn down and are hard to read. The hotel is somewhat worn and needs some attention to its rooms. After that, I’d be happy to recommend it highly.

Scott, the valet, was really nice and helpful, and the meeting room attendant was awesome too. She anticipated what we needed and was so kind. The front desk and lobby bar were friendly and efficient. It’s a historic hotel with a beautiful lobby and rooftop bar, plus spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We had a great stay.

The bell staff were consistently polite and helpful, and the front desk staff could be smug but were still informative. I liked the bedside controls for the sheer curtains, blackout curtains, and lighting, though the labels had worn down and were a little hard to make out. This is a well-designed European-style hotel downtown in Music City. The rooms are small but well appointed, the beds are firm, and the sheets are good. The location is excellent for downtown sights, especially the Ryman, but the steep hills to and from the hotel call for comfortable shoes.
