I found the price comfortable for what I needed, and I would use The Reed Motel again if I'm in the area. The place was cozy and the bed was comfortable enough. It's an older building with cleaned-up rooms, new flooring, fresh paint, and touchups, but it hasn't been remodeled, so don't expect perfection. I was there in April 2026. The woman who checked me in and out was nice. There are lots of restaurants nearby, though I wouldn't suggest walking to them. The hotel is also close to the highway, so there's some noise. Turning on the fan or using a sound machine, even one on my phone, quieted it pretty well. I didn't see any critters or signs of them, and the bed was clean. The floor wasn't very clean: I spilled some water and the rag was dirty when I wiped it up, as shown in the picture. I usually keep my shoes on in hotels anyway. It's a good affordable option in the area, as long as you're not expecting fancy, movie-quality rooms for that price.

I've been staying here for a few weeks. It's a quiet, calming place to come back to after work, and it's kept running smoothly by a small, dedicated family of good-hearted, hard-working people. Clean, polite, and enjoyable.

The owner greeted me with a smile and made check-in and getting my key easy. That warm welcome set the tone for the visit. We drove straight to our room, with a parking spot right outside. We came to Nashville for a show at the Ryman theater, and the motel is exactly 3 mi from Broadway, so getting downtown was a short, convenient drive. The price was great, too. Built in the 1960s, the hotel still has its vintage charm, including the original pink bathroom tile and fixtures. Everything was clean and tidy, the room temperature was easy to control, and the shower had several settings and very good water pressure. Those are the things that matter. This place is for people who appreciate it for what it is.

It's a small, slimy motel in a rough neighborhood, and at times the rates are as high as the Hilton. The owner is rude, and they charge extra for everything.

It's a cheap motel, so it's obviously not fancy. The AC works, and there's a bus stop right across the street that goes downtown for only $2. I didn't see any bugs, so I can't really complain. I'd recommend it to guys looking to party on Broadway.
