Riverboat Bed & Breakfast

Marybeth knows the area well and was a great host. We had a spacious, comfortable room and living area, with tours and nightlife conveniently nearby.

We'd stay here again in Natchez and highly recommend it. Breakfast was hearty and very good. The front porch was a pleasant place to watch the world go by, and there was a nice sitting area at the back too. It got a little noisy during the car show and festival, but traffic eased off by late evening and things were fine. The home was clean and welcoming, and our spotless room and bathroom had a comfortable bed and pillows. Marybeth kept in touch on arrival day and met us there. Parking behind the house was easy to access, and since we were on a motorcycle, she even had a foot we could use when parking. That impressed me, lol! Guests can use the full-size fridge in the kitchen, and the coffee pot and individual Keurig machine were always stocked. The house is one easy block from the bluff park overlooking the river, and a couple of blocks from downtown food options. We stayed two nights a couple of weeks ago.

Mary Beth was a lovely hostess, and the place was clean and welcoming. We could come and go easily. It worked perfectly as a base for seeing Natchez, with restaurants and many of the grand houses an easy walk away.

Marybeth made us feel welcome and was lovely to talk with when we booked. She shared her family's river boat history and gave us great food recommendations. We stayed on the first floor in a comfortable room with a comfy bed. The historic family home is cozy and well located, and breakfast was delicious, with farm-fresh eggs and homemade jam.
