David made us feel welcome from the start and was thoughtful throughout our stay. He knows the area well and shared recommendations that really helped us enjoy our visit. The home is comfortable, beautifully kept, and well placed for exploring Natchez. We found it peaceful, welcoming, and full of Southern character. The personal hospitality made it easy to slow down and enjoy the trip. We’d absolutely come back, and would recommend this cozy bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Natchez.

Breakfast at the main house was exquisite, and the beds in cottage 1 at the Linden were so comfortable. We stayed there with friends from the coast, and all the little details and amenities felt just right. Being at the Linden during the inaugural Capital River Region Songwriters Festival weekend is a memory we’ll always cherish. Everything was spectacular. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality. We’ll be back!

The two people who made and served breakfast were very nice. Otherwise, it didn’t seem like anyone worked there. My key had been left in an envelope on a table, addressed incorrectly, and there was no direction to my room. The room was tiny and crammed with large furniture that mostly wasn’t useful. The TV instructions were wrong, and when I called the number they left for help, it went to voicemail and nobody called back. All in all, staying at this plantation, which it was, was an interesting experience. I wouldn’t return.

We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return someday. Miss Jennifer took care of every need, and Miss.Bertha (?) served delicious breakfasts. Miss Mabel was such a gracious lady, too. Thank you Miss Marjorie & Mr.David for the true Southern Hospitality and for reminding us of our Southern heritage, even though my family comes from Alabama 🙂. Breakfast was excellent, and eating in the dining room felt special. Check-in was simple, and our room had lovely decor and all the amenities. We enjoyed the whole stay and will definitely come back soon.
