We arrived in Natchez this past Saturday without warning, but Colleen Wilkins stopped what she was doing and kindly showed us around her beautiful home. She took her time telling us about its history, and the visit was wonderful. I was struck by both the house's beauty and Colleen's compassion and generosity. Her hospitality made our first weekend in Natchez especially memorable. We’ll make sure to include Sunnyside on our next visit.

Miss Colleen was fascinating, and we ended up spending about three hours with her after breakfast, touring the house and hearing about its residents and history. By the time we left, it felt like we were leaving home. The room was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely come back, especially to see the Christmas decorations once they’re finished.

Colleen made our honeymoon feel like a visit with family. She was warm and laid back, cooked us amazing breakfasts every day, and had plenty of suggestions for things to do. She also gave us room to explore the beautiful antebellum home on our own, and was generous with the food and drinks there. We spent hours wandering through all the rooms, looking at the antiques, artwork, and other treasures. Every room was beautifully decorated, with so much attention to detail, and there were loads of books to read and art to admire. The gardens outside were lovely. We could imagine what living in that era might have been like, and could easily have spent weeks taking it all in. We loved getting to know Colleen and hearing her fascinating stories about the house and its history. Her two attractive, very well-behaved dogs and Siamese cat were friendly and used to people. Since we have dogs and cats at home, we felt comfortable around them, and enjoyed having the animals as part of the B&B experience. It was a memorable trip, and we definitely plan to return. I can't imagine a better honeymoon stay, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Colleen's breakfast was the best I've had in a very long time, and it was beautifully presented. I was in town for a work conference with my company, and Sunnyside was a wonderful place to stay. It’s gorgeous inside and out, and being there felt like a little glimpse of history. I also slept better than I have in years. I highly recommend it. I'm booking again for September, and hopefully October too, if I can get rooms.

The house is packed with antiques, artwork, furniture, and decor, some of the most amazing we've seen. The rooms were spotless and the beds cozy and comfortable. My mom and I stopped here during a cross-country drive, and Colleen was an incredibly kind, knowledgeable host. We loved our stay so much that five stars don't seem to do it justice. I’d give it ten if I could. Don’t miss this lovely B&B.
