Weymouth Hall B&B

Our Riverside room was so peaceful, with incredible views, and it was clean too. Shauna made sure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the pool and the breakfast voucher for Monmouth plantation. This is easily THE BEST place to stay in Natchez, and we’re already looking forward to our next trip.

The staff were warm, quick to help, and somehow knew what we needed without hovering. The gardens and Adirondack chairs were lovely, and the quiet made sleeping feel like an Olympic event. It was the kind of hush where you can get a deeper sleep than you knew you needed. Weymouth Hall sits on one of Natchez’s highest bluffs, with a front-row view of the Mississippi gliding by. The whole place felt like Southern gothic mixed with a spa day, and staying there was like stepping into a postcard. The history and hospitality were part of the charm too. Just don’t be surprised if you catch yourself whispering to the river or craving a mint julep.

The location was convenient, and the view was nice, but the doors squeaked loudly and the deadbolts didn’t work. The bathroom was tiny. We never saw the hostess again after check-in and payment. Coffee was advertised in the public area, but only self-serve pods were available, so we brought our own coffee maker. Our breakfast vouchers had also been changed to another location, with no explanation or apology.

Ms. Shaunda was so sweet and made sure we were set up, then stayed available if we needed anything. The home is beautiful, with what I think is the best view in Natchez. I loved everything about it, and the hospitality is among the best in the area. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to stay in Natchez.
