Comfort Suites Natchitoches

I was having a really rough day when I checked in, and Grace’s kindness meant more than she probably knew. About an hour after I got to my room, she called to see how I was doing and whether I’d settled in. That small, thoughtful gesture completely turned my day around. You don’t often find someone who cares the way she does. Grace is a real asset to this hotel, and her compassion and professionalism will absolutely bring me back.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable mattress and pillows, good AC, and no bugs. It was clean, and the bathroom’s sink area was very small, though the rest of the bathroom was large. WiFi was iffy, but there were no other issues. I stayed 10-8-25 in rm 206. It was obviously expensive at $173+ taxes, so I used points for part of the cost. I think most hotels in this town are expensive.

The breakfast lineup was really good, and the staff were friendly. That was about all I liked. The AC made a racket like a band playing drums inside the machine and barely cooled the room. You could hear every nearby room door shut, and the ones close to us made the wall shake. Upstairs footsteps came through loudly, along with what sounded like wood cracking as people walked around. If you stay, get the 3rd floor. We had upgraded hotels expecting something better, but this place was a disappointment. We would have been better off at the Super 8. It’s NOT worth what they charge for rooms.

The owner has blocked people who contact corporate to make a valid complaint about an earlier stay. Instead of fixing the issue, they block you from all locations. That’s unprofessional and rude, especially during the holiday. So our complaint about the hotel being gross got us blocked? We addressed the problem, and now we’re shut out. Got it. Time to contact the people we need to in Natchitoches. Please be aware of this before calling to complain about bugs or anything else.
