My daughter called the local number to ask the front desk employee if the hotel was pet friendly. It is, but there's a non-refundable extra charge of $80.00 per night, with a maximum two-night stay. The employee wouldn't let her book two nights and then another two once those were over. Instead, she told her, “you should look elsewhere.” Is that really how we help our community and locals? My family has always tried to support the community and its members, so I'm highly disappointed.

We needed somewhere at the last minute, and it felt safe and clean enough to stay. There was some mold on the bathtub curtains and floors, though. Breakfast needs work. We got toast with PB&J, coffee, and muffins.

11/7/25. The whole stay was bad, and the room was dirty when we arrived. I check beds first because of a terrible past experience at an Indian-owned motel. One bed had dirt stains on the sheets; the other had hair and didn't look clean. The bathroom floor had hair and brown specks that looked like poop, the tub had hair and dirt, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned. Almost all the towels on the rack were dirty, including a used one left on the shower rod. There was also a dirty face cloth hanging there, and the microwave hadn't been cleaned. The mattress was old, hard, and dirty. We paid almost $300 for two nights. Jacky from the front desk came up and changed the sheets, but my daughter's fitted sheet didn't fit and one corner was left loose. She didn't mention cleaning the bathroom. She said the hair on my bed was from the maid, as if that meant the bed had been made, but it hadn't. After she changed the sheet, she ran her hands over the pillows as though the pillowcases were clean. I asked for those to be changed too. The Indian woman, who I think is one of the owners, never reached out to make things right. We had to put a towel in the disgusting tub to shower, and my daughter said they charge for ice too. Breakfast wasn't good either. My daughter's English muffin was yellowish on one side, the powdered donuts were hard, and when we came down around 8:15 the coffee was almost gone. The Indian woman made another batch after we asked, but offered cups to everyone else first, even though they'd already had coffee. A very nice woman across from me gave me hers because she knew we were asking. The coffee tasted horrible. My daughter and I were visiting my oldest brother and his family, who live across the street. My brother and his wife were shocked at how dirty the room was. Our sister Patty had stayed several times and said it was clean, and my brother had heard it was the cleanest around. My nephew told us about using an iron on the mattress corners and box spring to check for bed bugs. When my daughter tried it, dirt came out of the box spring corners. I took bathroom photos to show what I'm saying is true, though we didn't get photos of the beds before the sheets were changed. While my daughter was outside smoking, I went back to the room with my granddaughter and found my key card didn't work. That added to an already awful stay. When we left, nobody was at the front desk and there was no maid in sight. I'm not usually one to complain, but this room was not clean, or was cleaned very poorly. Nothing was done to make it right, and we weren't given credit for even one night's stay. My family across the street said I should get a full refund. I said I'd post reviews on Yelp and other sites, especially if I didn't get some kind of credit.

We came for New Year's Eve to visit Santa's Village. The price seemed decent and it was close to the park. Things were fine, though not super clean, just clean enough. But don't stay here with kids: they charged us 100 for a ruined pillow after one of them had an accident. A damage charge that nearly costs as much as a night's stay seems ridiculous.

There was hair on the sheets, bathtub, and sink when I checked in. I asked for another room and was told they didn't have one, though they did offer to rent me a rollaway bed for the room. I won't stay here again.
