Fairfield Inn & Suites Natchitoches

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. But we stopped mainly to take a hot shower, and there was no hot water, so it felt like a waste of money. The neighbors kept their TV on late, and sound carries between the rooms because they aren't well insulated.

Jeremy Wilson handled a string of problems calmly and impressively. During breakfast, someone accidentally set a pastry on fire in the toaster, setting off alarms across the hotel. Guests headed for the lobby, then the fire department arrived. We were in a handicap accessible room, where the strobe light started flashing and wouldn't stop. Guests were also trying to check out, but Jeremy Wilson kept his cool and sorted out each issue. For the rest of our stay, he greeted us like friends whenever he saw us, which was wonderful. We want to commend the staff, especially him, for such great service. We'll definitely be back.

They greeted us as soon as we came in, and check-in was very efficient. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. We got a courtesy call to see how our stay was going, and yes, it was great. Check-out went just as well.

The gym wasn't much to look at because of the renovations, but the website had explained that clearly, and it was still operational. Breakfast had a spread I loved, which says a lot from someone who's lactose intolerant. The customer service was excellent at both check-in and checkout. I'd definitely stay again.
