Clarion Inn - Kennedy Space Center

We booked the Clarion a month ahead to see the May space shuttle launch, but after checking in following the launch, we found we hadn’t been given the King room we’d booked. When we called, the young woman told us we should be glad to have a room at all because they were overbooked. There was a huge dead cockroach under the desk, the bathtub was dirty with a ring, and there was toilet paper in the toilet when we arrived. The phone wire had been pulled out of the wall and pushed behind the bed, and the smoke alarm went off above our bed. The high-speed Wi-Fi signal was too weak in our room to stay connected. The next morning we asked to move to a room with Wi-Fi. The same young woman said she couldn’t guarantee a signal anywhere except the lobby. We checked out and moved to the Hampton Inn for the rest of our couple of days in the area. It was very nice.
