Hampton Inn Boston Natick

A solid, friendly hotel, though nothing especially special. Breakfast is basic, and there’s a small wall shop for snacks. The attached restaurant and bar, Skybox 109, is reasonably priced, with a wide beer selection: 10 on tap and standard domestic bottles. The menu has classic American bar food with the usual regional twists. I had the Fish and Chips. It was above average, with way too many fries and so-so tartar sauce. They either forgot the slaw or were out. There are 15 large TVs showing Boston sports or whatever major sports event is on.

The staff were nice, which I appreciated, but the small parking lot and location in a nightmare traffic spot made getting around super annoying. Like many chains, they’ve put money into the lobby and common areas while leaving the rooms behind. Some rooms have refrigerators and others don’t, so ask if that matters to you. The heater and AC are old and bang constantly. The beds are doubles, and I wish they’d update them to queens. The bedding is thin and unappealing, and the TV should be updated to stream.

The staff were amazing, from the general manager on down. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and do what you need them to.

My receptionist was Dwayne, and I remember the staff being so open and celebratory because my sister and I were there for our birthday weekend. They were really kind, and the stay was great value for what we paid. It was an amazing experience, and I’ll definitely keep this place a secret. Thank you for a wonderful time and a memory my sister and I won’t forget.
