I’ve stayed here three times now, and each stay has been excellent. The current owners recently took over, and they’re committed to giving guests a good experience. My first time there, I had a minor issue, but they dealt with it promptly and accommodated me. They went out of their way to show that keeping guests cared for and happy was their priority. Some rooms have been updated and some haven’t yet, so choose according to your taste. They do their best to provide a clean room and a good experience each time. If you need ANYTHING, they respond quickly and take care of it. The beach below the property is great for crabbing, and there are lots of good places to check out nearby. It works for family time or adult adventures, too. Support your local Tillamook costal business, these guys deserve it! ✨ ❤️🙏🏾

The only good thing was the view. There were long black hairs that weren’t ours in the bed and on the bathroom floor, and the cupboards had dirty dishes. The microwave had no tray, the dresser was broken, and there was nowhere to hang anything. The dining table wasn’t attached to its base. We didn’t get a TV remote until we complained. The Wi-Fi was very bad and slow. The front desk gal kept saying she was out of it and not thinking straight. Edit: If you’d paid attention, you’d have my name right. You had me under Hawes.

The location was incredible, and the views from our balcony were stunning. We appreciated having a fridge and microwave. The coffee maker came with a Tupperware full of grounds, but we had no idea how many hands had been in there or how old they were, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. There was a fire pit outside, but it was out of propane until another guest refilled it. The property manager was incredible. We first tried to stay at his other property in Oceanside and ran into some issues, but he responded quickly and accommodated our move here. His responsiveness and help went above and beyond, and we were very impressed with that part of our stay. The property itself needs a serious deep clean and renovations. The sheets had lots of little hairs and stains, the sink took 5 minutes to drain after washing our hands, and the shower head touched the top of my head, even though I’m only 5’5”. The door locked automatically from the outside, with no extra locks inside. The TV stopped working on our 3rd day. The wall knob for climate control gave us either warm or hot air, no cool air. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear every noise from the surrounding rooms. The stay was okay, but there are a LOT of improvements that could be made.

The balcony view was gorgeous, and there was a nice little trail down to the beach. Watch your step, though, since some of the steps are closer together than others. There’s a very small store next to the Inn, plus a bar and grill a 5-minute drive or 10-minute walk away with good service and food. The pet area is by the extra parking, where there are also a few chairs and a big ashtray for smokers. There’s a sitting area near the beach trail, and the beach itself was lovely. I found the place on Airbnb and took a chance after reading a lot of comments that weren’t all that desirable. The holiday-weekend price was descent. On check-in day I got a text about early check-in from a place I didn’t know was connected to this Inn, which threw me off a little, but now you know :). In the evening, the office was open but nobody was there. I called and got a quick, friendly answer that they’d run over to another property and would be right back. They were there in a zip, and check-in was fast. Parking isn’t assigned, which was fine, and there’s an extra lot if the spaces in front of the rooms fill up. It’s an older building, and the room was on the small side, but it was just me and my pup, so that wasn’t a deal breaker. I don’t travel to sirens time in my room anyway. The room itself WAS clean, with clean towels, a few bathroom amenities, and extra towels in a bucket for "beach" feet to keep the floors from getting so sandy. Good idea!! It also had a small fridge, microwave, flat screen, hair dryer, luggage rack, hangers, a chair, and 4 pillows. No ice machine. There weren’t many plug-ins, but when the building was built way back when, I’m sure they never expected us to live in a digital world and plug everything in. TV channels weren’t the greatest, but I wasn’t there to watch TV. They also provide DVD players and movies in the rooms. The view of the beach was phenomenal. My interactions with the staff, from check-in to check-out and a time or two in between, were always friendly and helpful. Pet friendly.
