Outside Inn

We were glad to find somewhere pet-friendly in Nevada City. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the historic area was close enough to reach on foot. Some rooms have kitchenettes, though with so many places to eat nearby, we chose restaurants instead. The neighborhood felt safe for walking our dogs. Please be responsible with your pets so other guests can enjoy staying here too.

The owners made us feel welcome, and the room was clean, cozy, and charming. We also appreciated the mini fridge since we travel with insulin. Getting into town was an easy, pretty walk, and the location worked out really well for us.

My husband, daughter, and I had the same lovely experience my sister and Mom had earlier this year. The rooms are spacious, very cute, and clean. It’s in an adorable residential area, with the shops only about a block away. The on-premise owners were kind, attentive, and full of useful information.

After staying in several of the rooms over more than 20 years, we tried The Cottage this time and it was just right. It had two comfortable bedrooms, a lovely living and dining room, and a large kitchen, plus the essentials and plenty of towels. WiFi worked well and there were good TV options. We had reserved parking off the street and a big front patio with seating and a barbecue. Town is an easy walk away.
