Hampton Inn New Bern

A Hilton parking lot sign hit the rear bumper of my car and left a dent. I showed the manager, who took pictures and said she'd follow up. I had to keep calling to ask if she'd reported it. Two months later, she said nothing could be done. She gave me 15,000 points, worth $70 or more, but that doesn't pay for my 2024 Mercedes Benz bumper. She also said she would give me part of my refund, then ignored my emails when I tried to reach her. The dealer estimated $600 to fix the bumper. I'll never stay with them again. They won't take responsibility for damage to my car on their property. On 5/1, the manager told me again she was sorry this happened. Cassandra was the one who acted like she was looking into it, just to make the hotel look good. She replied below pretending to care. I called the number she left, and she said she'd already told me they weren't doing anything about my car. She's heartless and doesn't care what happens to your car on their property. I'll go over her head to try to resolve it. Don't reply with a number if you don't care.

Irma at the front desk was so warm and accommodating while my two sisters and I had our annual getaway in New Bern. The hotel was extremely modern and clean, and breakfast each morning was magnificent. I can't say enough good things about her or the place. If I'm back in New Bern, I'd definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again.

We’re leaving tomorrow and don't want to change rooms when we're already heading to bed, but this is disgusting. There are tiny black hairs all over the bathroom floor, and the room just isn't clean. The location works well for what we needed, but for $200 a night I'd expect better. I'd check out the other hotels around here before booking.

After the issues I've had with Marriott, I really appreciated how much care I got here and the compassionate, executive-level service I always receive at hilton. Kimmy and Cassandra at this Hampton were especially wonderful and deserve to be recognized. Thank you, ladies. You made my stay.
