Comfort Suites New Braunfels - San Antonio Area

The friendly staff and comfortable room were the bright spots, but I won't stay here again. I was there for six days, and the room was cleaned just once, after four days. We also found roaches. The fridge wasn't working right, the room smelled strange, and the bathroom light was missing its cover. Internet was very poor. I thought I'd reserved a lower-level King room, but was assigned a second-floor room instead. That wasn't a deal breaker, though the broken ice machine meant going down to the first floor for ice. I usually choose Comfort Suites because they're consistent and clean. This was nothing like what I've experienced before. The hotel needs updating and treatment for insects.

Fine for a night. The service was excellent, and checkout is at 11am. Breakfast is continental and ends at 9am, but the waffle iron runs a bit cool. Bring pillows you can pack.

The staff helped me sort out an issue with my business papers and printing, and we'll stay here again. Our room and bathroom were very clean, with soaps and towels ready. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet: eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, juices, and different coffees.

We paid a fair price for roomy, comfortable rooms, and the breakfast was hot and tasty. Everyone running the place was welcoming, friendly, and helpful, always smiling. This is by far the best place we've stayed, even better than staying in San Marcos. We'll keep coming back.
