Fairfield Inn & Suites New Buffalo

We needed a room for an unplanned overnight trip, so my husband called the front desk to ask if anything was available. They said they were full without checking the system. We took their word for it and looked elsewhere, then realized they hadn't actually checked. When we looked online, there were plenty of rooms, so we booked one. We chose it because it seemed like a nicer hotel and other places really were booked. It's unfortunate the employee apparently didn't feel like booking us and lied instead. If I hadn't been seven months pregnant, I'd rather have slept in the car than give them our business.

A dependable, comfortable place to stay, with a convenient location and the essentials travelers need. There are a few small things that could be better, but our experience was positive overall. It works well for both work trips and leisure.

There's not much happening nearby, but Warren Dunes State Park is about 16 minutes away and is awesome. The hotel is easy to reach from the highway, and our room was roomy and clean. There were plenty of parking spaces, and breakfast was great.

Kiana at the front desk went above and beyond. My husband needed a shower chair, and late at night she spent several minutes tracking one down, then brought it to our room herself. Thank you! The staff were kind, friendly, and professional, and the place was newly renovated, quiet, clean, and felt safe. Great customer service. Highly recommend.
