Rodeway Inn Farmington

We were in Farmington for work and needed a place that served its purpose. This room did, since it was inexpensive and very clean. It wasn't fancy and didn't have a beautiful view, but they were great with my service Dogs and late check-in. Check-out at 11 was nice, too. Four stars from me.

I've never been somewhere this disgusting. When I told the front desk worker how grotesque the room was, she stayed quiet and only asked for my room number. I asked to move, but she said the hotel was fully booked. I can't see how anyone should pay $100 a night for a place this gross. Never again, and I hope people who read this stay away.

After checking out, I realized I'd left my purse behind and called to ask whether anyone had found it. The person who answered, maybe the owner or manager, was swearing at coworkers on the phone with me, dropping F-bombs. It was completely unprofessional. I truly believe they found my purse but chose not to return it. Even if they kept the purse, I would have appreciated getting its contents back. I wanted honesty and a little decency. The room was a letdown, too. We booked through Expedia for around $92, nearly $100, and the tub was so filthy I didn't feel safe showering. There was hair on the toilet and sink, as if someone had shaved and housekeeping hadn't cleaned up. I usually write positive reviews, but this was too disappointing to keep quiet about. The dirty room and disrespectful treatment made for a terrible stay. I wouldn't recommend this Rodeway Inn to anyone. Guests deserve better.

The rooms were clean and the price was very reasonable. The interior is a little dated, but that didn't bother me. Good value.
