I had a peaceful, welcoming stay here with my daughter during a difficult time, and the staff showed us real compassion. Everyone I dealt with seemed to care about our situation. The room was beautiful, with a clean kitchen area, fresh towels, and good utensils and silverware. The location felt quiet and tucked away, yet it was close to the highway, like a hidden gem I’d passed many times. There was one very unsettling incident: maintenance came into my room without permission, saying they smelled something burning. I was spiritually in tune and immediately knew someone was in there, which housekeeping confirmed. My cat was inside, and it felt like an invasion of privacy, even if they may have meant well. I’m grateful for the kindness we were shown and would recommend this Extended Stay location, with the hope that privacy issues like this can be addressed.

The hallways and elevator smelled of smoke, and you could hear some traffic now and then because it’s right by major exits. Still, it’s a clean, basic setup in a great spot for travel. There’s laundry and vending on site, and check-in and checkout were easy. Staff were polite and efficient.

The only decent part of my stay was the cable and remote. The room looked nothing like the online photos and was dusty, outdated, and in need of updates. The silver items had rust and peeling paint, and the tub had hard-water stains and hair. The front office was never staffed. I had to call or yell hello to get service. I needed bath mats and was told to leave my bag of towels outside the room, which I did. At the desk, they handed me one bath mat. When I called down for help with the Wi-Fi, a young guy answered and sounded like he didn’t know if it was 10 am or 10 pm. He said he didn’t know because he doesn’t usually go into the rooms.

The biggest problem was the snow. The streets had been plowed during the storm, but the hotel driveway and parking lot hadn’t been cleared at all. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either, fine for one night, but not more. Tina kindly let us check in early after we flew in from California for dinner during heavy snow. She wanted information for everyone staying in the rooms and asked my mother-in-law to show IDs for the people in her room. Outside smelled like weed, and a couple came out every two hours to smoke. It didn’t bother me much, being from California. Breakfast was just really hot coffee and a muffin that crumbled as soon as I opened it. Tina said they couldn’t provide pots and pans because some long-term guests had them. I didn’t need any, but I’d have been annoyed if I had.

There wasn’t a real breakfast, just coffee, tea, and a healthy snack. The attendant was pleasant and understanding, and there were no issues with them. I wasn’t convinced the mattress covers were clean. All three beds had covers that looked alike.
