I left that night without staying, even though I'd needed a room because the pipes at home broke that day. Within 55 minutes of checking in, I found two bugs, dirt and dead bugs in the shower, more dirt in the drawers, stained sheets and pillows, and food crumbs in the bed. I took pictures of it all. They offered another room, but that one was dirty too, with no clean sheets, crushed chips on the floor, and an unclean tub and toilet. There were no other rooms available, and they've refused to refund my two-night stay.

We couldn't sleep, so we left and booked somewhere else. I'll ask for a refund, though I don't expect much. A budget motel doesn't need to be fancy, but the dirt and misleading listing crossed the line. Many of the advertised features weren't there. The only surprise in the other direction was a fridge, but it sat on the desk and dripped water everywhere. The room looked out at a wall. There was no sofa, no free toiletries, no towels, and no hand sanitizer. The TV was listed as flat-screen with satellite and cable, but it either didn't work or came with no instructions, and none of those channels were available. The bathtub had rust where the enamel was worn off. The mattress had a plastic cover that made sleeping impossible, and lifting the blanket revealed dirt and debris on the sheet. There was just one roll of toilet paper, and I couldn't find an outlet near the bed.

We booked through Priceline, though the person who gave us the price was with booking.com. After three days of contacting all three companies, our refund still wasn't approved. I also reached out to Penn live news with photos of the bed bugs and asked them to help, since other people seem to have the same complaints. Someone should investigate this place and help the people who lost money there. It needs to be condemned. We paid $508 for a week, but only came in to shower before an event because we were running late. I'm glad we brought nothing but our shower clothes. We left our itinerary paper on the first queen bed, and after showering saw bed bugs crawling on it. I managed to take a picture and went straight to the office to ask for a refund. Check-in was at 3 p.m.; we arrived at 3:30 and checked out at 4. The woman wouldn't give us checkout paperwork and kept pushing us to try another room, which I politely declined. The cancellation policy said there were no refunds after 12:19 p.m., before guests could even see the room. The website photos are deceptive.

I paid cash after booking online, and when I found room 104 dirty, they moved me to room 205. Its TV was dirty and propped up on a desk with a phone. I asked for my money back, but the woman took my key cards and wouldn't refund me. Traveling means you need to be able to trust a hotel, and I don't trust these rat-infested places. It's not hard to prove fraud, and I'll take this hotel down over it.
