Luxury Furnished Apartments by Hyatus at Amistad Park

The Hyatus team gave superb service, and we had a wonderful time. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and very neat, though the living and dining area felt a bit tight for six. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, with nice complimentary supplies like coffee, spices, soaps, and even toothbrushes. The common areas were excellent too, with all new equipment that we enjoyed using. The bathrooms were nice, but the shower faucets and heads didn’t work well or meet the standard. We could also hear the tenant upstairs, especially children running. I’d rate the rooms five stars if not for the shower fixtures and the noise above.

This was our third time at Hyatus in New Haven, and we keep enjoying our stays when we visit our daughter. We’ve tried the two-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and this time a one-bedroom apartment. All were in excellent condition, awesome, and always clean. The kitchen has everything you could think of. It’s quiet, and having access to indoor garages is great. We look forward to coming back each time.

The kitchen had everything we needed, including pots and pans for cooking in, and the beds were comfortable. Parking felt safe and was easy to access. It’s a great location, close to downtown food and fun. We’ll be back!

I have mixed feelings about Hyatus. Staff are limited, and they only help during regular business hours. The apartment does have its own washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and access to a fitness center. Yale is a solid 20-25 minute walk, depending on which part of campus you’re headed to. I stayed for about a month, and the bathroom smelled like vomit when I checked in. I asked for cleaning several times, but it was never thorough and the odor stuck around for days. Eventually I found that someone had thrown up on the fake flower pot in the bathroom. After that, the smell finally went away.
