The house was clean, and the detailed instructions made it clear the host cares about the property. We booked at the last minute, and the host was responsive and accommodating. A few things didn’t match what I expected for the price. We chose it for a winter stay partly because the listing showed several fireplaces, but we were only allowed to use one. There was very little kindling, just a few small partly burned pieces and a few logs, and the lighter was nearly out of gas, so we couldn’t get a fire going. The heated toilet seats were a nice touch, but other supplies felt poorly thought through. There were only three wine glasses in a home listed for up to 11 guests, very little cookware, and no pans for cooking. We still had a pleasant stay, but some parts of the listing and amenities felt misleading. Guests have extensive rules and high expectations placed on them, so I’d like to see that same attention to detail in what’s provided.

The hot tub was nice, and it’s a cool place. But the fire pit area hadn’t been cleared, so we couldn’t use it. There were inches of snow on the chairs around the pit, and the lounge chairs and deck around the hot tub were buried too.

The kids loved the Jacuzzi and the fresh, peaceful air. I felt comfortable there, knowing the place was cared for, and it was quiet and comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent throughout, from the sparkling floors and spotless kitchen to the pristine bathroom and fresh smelling linens. There were fresh towels and well-sanitized amenities, too. I had a fantastic stay with my kids and would happily return. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained place.

There’s plenty of room to relax, unwind, and have fun, and the house is beautifully decorated. My wife and I enjoyed our stay a lot. After a long day of shopping and wine tasting nearby, the hot tub was a perfect way to wind down. We highly recommend it and will come back next time we’re in New Hope.

We had a great time at this cute cottage. It was clean and well stocked, and the detailed directions made it really easy to find. We’d definitely stay again.
