The location is good, in a nice Brooklyn neighborhood close to the subway. Manhattan is about 15 minutes away, and Times Square takes around 30. Breakfast is free, though not great, and the people were nice. The hostel was extremely dirty. There was no cleaning at all during my three days there. The woman handling everything was very nice and helpful, but one person can’t keep up with it all. They need to hire someone else or bring in a cleaning service.

I stayed three weeks and toured the city every day. The location was great, close to the subway, Prospect Park, restaurants, and groceries. It had a comfortable day room, plenty of clean linens, and nice facilities and kitchen. It had only just opened three years and four months ago, was very clean, and at the time had the best price in the city.
