Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

We booked this place at the last minute for a party. The atmosphere felt engaging and comfortable, the food options were affordable, and the waiters and waitresses were friendly, courteous, and attentive.

I arrived late for check-in, and Mrs. Teri Singh at the front desk and her colleague made me feel welcome right away. They promptly brought extra towels and a blanket when I asked, since I like to be extra toasty. Mrs. Singh greeted me warmly every time I came and went, and the young man who took over after her shift was just as helpful and pleasant. I travel often from Atlanta, Georgia, and I’m a NYC native who’s regularly in town, so good service matters to me. Mrs. Singh’s hospitality made such an impression that I booked again for my weekly work stay. This will be my go-to hotel for work trips. Excellent staff.

During my stay at the Sheraton Brooklyn on duffield street, Danny lam, one of the managers, asked how things were going. I mentioned that I’d had to call room service three times to get warmer blankets. He offered me a complimentary upgraded suite for my next day, but I asked if he could extend the offer to my parents, who had a reservation coming up. He did, and the extra space was much appreciated by both of them, since they’re elderly. Danny lam kept his word and went out of his way to help. He’s a great manager, and I’ll be staying at the Sheraton again. Thank you, Danny lam. Mr. Freeman

I booked three nights and got the wrong room at check-in. Reception then offered me a room with no heat during record cold temperatures in NYC, and it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. The third room was fine until another guest was able to get into it. I didn’t feel safe, so I left a day early. Management replied to my email the next day, then went silent. I haven’t heard from them since. Good luck staying here.
