Best Western Plus Executive Residency Bronx

I chose this newly built hotel because I thought it would make a good trip to NYC with my son, who’d always wanted to go, and to see family. Once we arrived, they took forever to find my reservation. Then the room I’d booked was supposed to have a bed and sofa, but the room we got had no sofa. Where were my son or I meant to sleep? Their only fix was a folding cot. The hotel and its employees were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I’ll keep visiting New York, but I won’t stay there again.

We stayed five nights and my whole family loved the breakfast. We’d definitely come back. Parking was a bit of a problem over the weekend, which I realized is part of NYC, but the night manager was fantastic and helped us back and forth with parking and everything else.

Sleep was impossible here. On the weekend it felt like being in a club’s back room, with music blasting until early morning and people leaving and shouting in the street. The walls are paper thin, and when the room next door had its TV on overnight, it sounded like it was in my room. The location wasn’t great either. Find somewhere else.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and breakfast is included every day, though I never made it because I wake up close to checkout. I recently left my charger behind and arranged for an Uber to pick it up. It was pouring, with lightning and thunder, but Nick at the front desk kindly carried it outside to the driver. The world needs more people like Nick, and he deserves a management position. Thanks again!
