After we left, all seven of us had lice. We were visiting NYC for the first time, and the whole stay was a nightmare. The room leaked and was crooked, the beds were terribly uncomfortable, the bathroom was disgusting, and the old building felt unsafe and nothing like the listing. We called again and again but got no answer. Then they charged my debit card twice. It took months and a dispute with my bank to get the money back. They lied every time the bank manager called to settle the matter, and kept dodging the calls. Dishonest people, terrible place. There are hundreds of great places to stay in NY, this isn't one of them.

I booked a Deluxe Quadruple Room with 2 full beds and 1 sofa beds for 4 nights. Just hours before check-in, I got an email saying the hotel had flooded. With so little notice, I accepted the alternative they arranged in Korean town. It was a shady studio with one bed and a TERRIBLE smell, nowhere near enough room for our group of 3. I had to find and book another hotel at the last minute. Stay away and find somewhere reliable!

We found out from another website after booking that the hotel has no elevator. When we called to ask whether anyone could help us reach our rooms on the upper floors, they said an employee was "sometimes" available to help with the stairs. We tried to cancel weeks before our dates, but they wouldn't give us a full refund, even though we had no choice but to stay elsewhere. The customer service through this whole process was incredibly poor. Now we're out money and scrambling to find another hotel on an even smaller budget. I can't believe they gave no warning about the stairs and wouldn't make a refund exception for our situation. I have no heart for this place, and I'll turn away friends, family and my company.

There was plenty of space, it was clean, and the showers were hot. Having a little kitchen was a nice extra, and the subway and restaurants are close by. For the price, it's a good place, though climbing two flights of stairs every day got rough.

We found the room clean and comfortable, and it was very spacious for our family of 6. The staff were super friendly, and the prices were amazing. My family and I enjoyed staying here and expect we'll rent this place again on future trips to NY.
