Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park

The lobby was relaxed and simple, which worked well for a short visit. I was there for three nights; the small room was tidy, with fresh sheets, a neat bathroom, and AC that was quieter than I expected. Check-in was efficient, and staff answered my questions without any fuss.

Veronica at the breakfast buffet and Aisha at the front desk were the bright spots. Both were kind and professional. The evening front desk man, though, was rude and condescending. My room had rust, mold, and peeling paint, and at $250 a night it was no deal at all. This was far below what I expect from a Wyndahm property. I’d take a little extra time to find somewhere else.

The strong weed smell throughout the property was hard to tolerate, and heavy perfume seemed to be used to cover it. It was overwhelming and concerning for anyone with allergies, asthma, or other health problems. I had a very disappointing stay. The hotel should be inspected soon for guests' safety and comfort, and I’d advise people to avoid it until the problems are properly addressed.

There was trash left behind by a previous guest, and the bathroom didn’t even have soap. The TV wouldn’t let me change channels or turn it off. When I first walked in, the floor was sticky; then I saw there were no pillows and the comforter looked worn out. Don’t bother with this place. I paid ten dollars more a night for a nicer hotel in a much less sketchy area.
