Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jamaica JFK Airport

It's a typical chain hotel, with affordable, small rooms. The linens and bathroom were clean, but the floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped in a while. There's almost no closet space, so you'll have to leave your things out in the open. The small TV with dish works fine. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the staff were friendly. My biggest complaint is the parking advertised as a perk. The lot only holds five cars, and after that you're left fighting for sidewalk spaces where you can end up blocked in.

The room itself was really nice and very clean, with the usual comforts: a coffee machine, mini fridge, cable TV, microwave, and a large bathroom. Breakfast is free too. The only real problem was parking. There are just five spaces, and parking there feels like a risk. The surrounding area didn't feel very welcoming, so I wasn't comfortable with that. If you're using a shuttle, this place should be fine.

The area felt a bit rough, but the beds were firm and clean, and I liked the shower pressure. We had to leave for the airport very early. The shuttle leaves every hour or half hour, I can't remember which, so let the desk know when you need it. The driver is usually ready once everyone's loaded. All in all, it was a good stay.

Save your money and don't stay here. I went to their other hotel, only to find it had shut down and was now a homeless shelter. I then had to drive over 40 to 50 minutes to this location after my original booking was moved here. The neighborhood was disgusting and felt very unsafe. There was barely any parking, with cars left on the sidewalk. The rooms were tiny, filthy, and falling apart. The AC unit smelled nasty, there was no hot water so I couldn't shower, and the breakfast selection was limited. The TV was down for a while. The staff is very professional.
