Hilton New York Fashion District

Valentine's weekend was crazy busy, but the Hilton app made checking in remotely easy and let us skip the desk and head straight to our room. We chose the highest floor still available, and the view was beautiful. The room was on the small side, but we could still move around without any trouble. It was clean and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were so soft. This was our first stay at this location as Diamond members. We'd tried several other properties, including in NYC itself. We liked having two restaurants to choose from. The rooftop wasn't open because of the weather, but we ordered room service from the restaurant on the main floor, and it was amazing and tasty. I love staying at Hilton.

We stayed in NYC for a weekend, December 19-23, 2025, and were very happy with our choice. The rooms look a little dated, but the price made it well worth it. What stood out was the location, cost, helpful staff, and quiet. We didn't hear street noise or random partygoers, and staff would check in whenever they saw us, asking if we needed water, directions, or recommendations. It's close enough to walk to the busy spots, around 15-20 minutes to Times Square, but far enough from the center of the NYC Christmas crowds. The rooftop bar was a nice extra, with a good atmosphere. It gave parents a chance to get a cocktail while the kids stayed in the room.

Sid at reception was welcoming and glad to answer questions. The staff were very accommodating. We had a great night at the Hilton, with a clean, spacious room in a prime Chelsea location. Breakfast was a lovely way to finish before heading out into the snow. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area.

The location is very convenient, but it was a big disappointment otherwise. Reception staff were really unfriendly and acted as if helping us was a favor. For a four-star Hilton, I expected slippers. Breakfast wasn't worth the money either: one plate to choose from each day, plus filter coffee or tea, with no juice or anything else. Save the money and eat somewhere else. They should train the reception staff to be more attentive.
