The Gotham Hotel

For the last five years, The Gotham has been my only Manhattan hotel. I used to choose a different place each time I visited NYC, but that changed after my first stay here. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the prices are reasonable. When I once left an item in my room, they were very accommodating and helped ship it back to me. My one small complaint is that the TV service could use an upgrade to modern hotel TVs with streaming or even a channel guide. I love this place and highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I had a really enjoyable stay there last month. The room, bed, and showers were all good, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is very good too. We've stayed at lots of Manhattan hotels, and this is now my first choice. We'll definitely be back.

The price was good, the room was a great size, and we had a nice TV and our own balcony. There was also a separate public balcony looking down over Times Square. The staff were great too. We dropped our bags off before going sightseeing, and they brought them up to our room once it was ready. I can't say enough good things about The Gotham Hotel and we'll stay here next time. Highly recommend it.

The Gotham was a hidden gem and exceeded what we expected. We flew in for a quick visit after New Year's and were pleasantly surprised. Brandon at the front desk was a spectacular host, cheerful and always ready to help. Our room was amazing, with a gorgeous walkout balcony and enough windows to make it feel like we were right in the middle of everything. On departure day, we stopped at the Reading Room restaurant and enjoyed great food and service. You should stop in. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
