Super 8 By Wyndham Bronx

I wanted a nearby place for visitors from out of town, close to my house and public transportation, and was surprised to find it had no vacancies until sometime in 2018. When I called, I was told it was completely full, but the parking lot was empty. I sat there for about half an hour and watched families come and go with groceries and laundry. This isn't a hotel, it's a city shelter. It would've been nice to have a real hotel nearby instead of a shelter or a hot-sheets place.

The staff are respectful and have good energy, from the front desk to the cleaning crew. They talk with you and try to work with you. The problem is some people sent here don't seem to understand being nice, clean, and respectful. They don't treat the staff well, show respect for the room, or help keep it clean.

There's a lot to it, but you can always reach out to me and I'll reply.

We came from Toronto, Canada and stayed here in April. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and tidy. There are lots of stores nearby, so we could leave the car in the parking lot and go shopping. We had a great stay and plan to come back whenever we're in New York. I'd recommend it to everyone.
