The rooftop was the icing on the cake, with amazing city views and a top-tier atmosphere. My friend and I stayed here for her birthday, and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was great, especially the orange juice, mushroom toast, and lox bagel. We loved the unique decor too. The big Flyboy in the lobby first caught my eye, and I love Hebru. Our view of the NYC skyline was breathtaking, and getting to Manhattan from the island was easy. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend the property. The food selection outside of breakfast wasn't great, though I loved spending time in such a beautiful space. Phone reception on the island wasn't strong, and I had to walk around the room to find a good signal.

The F subway line is only a few steps away and gets you to Times Square in four stops, which made the location perfect. Our room rate included breakfast, and there was no need to pay extra. We'd read some bad reviews about the food beforehand, but they weren't borne out at all. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and smiling, and the service throughout was excellent. The rooms were spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, and had really comfortable bedding. We thought the hotel was outstanding.

The room and the outdoor patio on the 18th floor both had amazing views of Manhattan. The hotel has a lot of character, with fun furnishings, a school theme, plenty of books, and nice spots to relax. The rooms were clean and spacious, with keyed access, and I was able to get into mine by 11:00am without any trouble. Staff across the front desk, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, rooftop bar area, and security were friendly and worked hard to help. The restaurant was just alright, and the food was okay. An Uber from Roosevelt Island to Times Square can run $75.00. Taking the Roosevelt tramline into Manhattan instead is easy and saves about $40.00 on the ride. LaGuardia Airport is also easy to reach from the hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

Wendy at the front desk made me feel right at home. I spent a weekend here between business trips and was really impressed. The views and location were immaculate, with a breath of fresh air away from Manhattan while still being very close by subway. The rooms were spacious by NYC standards and clean. No complaints, and I hope to stay again soon.

i went for the katseye concert and couldn't have picked a better place. my room had an amazing view, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all looked appetising and tasted just as good. absolutely amazing, i'd definitely go back and highly recommend it.
