The only real downside was the room’s position right by the elevator. Its loud whirring was easy to hear inside, along with hallway conversations from housekeeping and other guests. I’d ask for a room farther away next time. The rest of our anniversary stay was lovely: Manny at the front desk upgraded us from a city view to an empire view, and the room was spacious by New York standards. We also appreciated the $50 dining credit. The hotel is central, new, and reasonably priced, and I’d stay again.

The one snag was a slightly longer check-in than I expected. After that, everything went smoothly. The place was clean, quiet, and easy to get around, and the staff kept things welcoming with consistently good service. A comfortable, stress-free stay, and I’d recommend it.

I had to find a room unexpectedly, and the staff welcomed me warmly when I walked in around 8 in the morning. They offered a good price, and a room was ready within half an hour. While waiting, I had breakfast at the restaurant. The food and service were good, and I was glad they had gluten-free choices. Jasmine brought my room key over to the restaurant, so I was all set. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were great. The location was handy, too. I had no clothes or toiletries with me, but there were lots of stores within walking distance. Five out of five for my stay at the Greyson Hotel.

The location by Bryant Park was a big plus, with plenty around and easy transport access, including airport shuttles to Newark. It’s also right next to Amazon’s NYC office, which could be handy for business trips or a mix of work and sightseeing. On-site dining made it easy to get a meal without heading out. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout. The rooms are small, as you’d expect in NYC, but clean, modern, and well maintained. I had a great stay at the Grayson Hotel.
