Joey at the front desk was especially friendly and made everything easy. When we lost our key card, he replaced it for free, and when three of us ended up in a room booked for two, they promptly brought an extra bed and mattress. The hotel’s right beside a CVS and the 14th St/8th Ave (A, C, E, and L) subway station, with the Museum of Illusions, Chelsea Market, High Line, and Little Island Park nearby. Times Square and Midtown are just a 10-minute subway ride away. There’s also a very cute, talkative cat I loved. It’s not fancy, but it was a great stay for the price. The staff were all so nice and helpful, and I really enjoyed this budget-friendly hotel!

Over my three nights, housekeeping cleaned my room every day, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. I had a comfortable bed, plus my own fridge, microwave, TV, sink, and full dishes and silverware for two. The bathroom was shared, but there were two on each floor, so it wasn’t a problem. I’m very satisfied with the stay.

The location in Greenwich is a real plus, with a subway station right on the corner. But the room needs renovation badly. The furniture and bed are very old, and the window wouldn’t open while the curtains were broken. There’s a microwave, coffee maker, TV, and radiator heating. The shared bathroom was the worst part. This isn’t a hostel, and the price is still quite high. Breakfast isn’t included, though the location really is excellent.

The rooms were clean, and the subway is a short walk away. Staff were nice, and our shared bathroom was nearby, though some rooms have their own. The hotel cat was super friendly and hung out with us for a while.

The building’s older, and we were on the fifth floor with no elevator, which would’ve earned it four stars from me. Then I met the hotel cat, so five stars automatically. The location is great too.
