Margaritaville Resort Times Square

We held our daughter's 9th birthday sleepover at Margaritaville Times Square, and the kids had an absolute blast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly, smooth, and accommodating, which made hosting a group of kids much easier and less stressful. The only downside was noise outside my room in the middle of the night. I was near the elevator bank, and it disrupted my sleep. Aside from that, it went really well and was a fun, memorable experience for our daughter and her friends.

We went in for just drinks and an appetizer, and the wings, fries, and crab dip all tasted great. The drinks came in a blender you can take home, which was a fun touch. The restaurant was beautiful, and even without a reservation we got seated right away. I'd still recommend booking one to be safe. We were placed away from the main crowd, though I don't know if that was because we hadn't reserved or for another reason. My first drink was spicy, and I really didn't like it. Alcohol and spice don't work for me. I told the waitress it was spicy, and at first she didn't seem to believe me, but thankfully I was able to get a different drink.

I had the Jambalaya, and it was nicely seasoned with a good kick. The roast chicken was really good and very juicy, while the ribs were saucy, tender, and moist. The food was pretty good overall, and the place has a warm, resort-like vibe. Worth a visit when you're in midtown.

The shower temperature needs work. The water was either very hot or very cold, and I couldn't find a comfortable setting in between. Otherwise, my stay was really great. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, everything felt fresh and organized, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in keeping the property in good condition. Everything else was excellent, and I'd definitely stay again.
